After a month of waiting for the parts to arrive (and 5 years of usage of my old Pentium 4 Northwood), I finally made a trip down to SLS today, and completed the whole set. Spent the entire day transferring my new motherboard from the old casing (so that I can test if it can boot up and also do some overclocking) to the new one, and transferring back the old motherboard from the motherboard box to the old casing….

The processor has arrived…

Yup, another 2 weeks’ waiting time and the CPU arrives…   I’ve assembled it and have it running on the old casing, right now I’m overclocking it to 334FSB, and trying to lower the Vcore so that it runs cooler, but it seems that it has a strange “sometimes can POST some times cannot POST” issue…will run some tests and see how it goes. Could be that my old casing traps alot of heat (in comparison with my old motherboard…
