After a month of waiting for the parts to arrive (and 5 years of usage of my old Pentium 4 Northwood), I finally made a trip down to SLS today, and completed the whole set. Spent the entire day transferring my new motherboard from the old casing (so that I can test if it can boot [...] Yup, another 2 weeks’ waiting time and the CPU arrives… More pictures here I’ve assembled it and have it running on the old casing, right now I’m overclocking it to 334FSB, and trying to lower the Vcore so that it runs cooler, but it seems that it has a strange “sometimes can POST some times cannot POST” issue…will [...] Yeah, finally we get started on the good stuff on Thursday and Friday, Flash, and yes, I still detest using this software because I make alot of minor mistakes with it (missing ; ), and event handlers that can be assigned to any item, which is so confusing that you get lost trying to do OOP [...] This week was pretty interesting, we finally dived straight into Maya 7. The lessons are so boring that I almost fell asleep during class, but somehow I managed to stay awake by doing stuff that is way ahead of the lessons being taught.
