DBSVickersOnline - Investment 101 @ DBS Auditorium
Met up with 小白 today to attend an investment talk on ETFs and structured warrants at DBS Tower 1. Pretty much an interesting seminar, and lots of free stuff to take too. However, upon reaching the auditorium, we realized that most of the audience is actually in the late 30s to even 50s and 60s. So, yeah, we were practically one of the few “youngsters” in the talk. And we all supposedly do “intra-day contra trading”, to which is a very risky way to play stocks. Ah well. Doesn’t hurt to start investing young in order to accomodate your retirement…unlike most people (in the auditorium, at least)
