As you all may or may not know, every year, the quarterly IT fairs and exhibitions are getting more crowded, having more companies applying for an exhibit space (and more “booth babes”) and attacting more non-IT companies latching onto this crazy affair (e.g. insurance agents, travel agencies, brokerage firms, etc). Honestly, I seriously wish that [...] Well, basically I ‘ve been “thrown” to another school again and this time, its only slightly better – all I did was take down the serial numbers of PCs in the school, and replace (lousy Made in China) video switches with a RGB to DVI converter using visualizers as the “video switch”. Tiring work as [...] Well, after being trained to be a “qualified” TA, I was posted to a primary school in the Queenstown area (a very peaceful neighbourhood there, I must say) last week, and this week, before I even get to officially start work today, I was called up by the HOD for IT there to help the [...] Met up with 小白 today to attend an investment talk on ETFs and structured warrants at DBS Tower 1. Pretty much an interesting seminar, and lots of free stuff to take too. However, upon reaching the auditorium, we realized that most of the audience is actually in the late 30s to even 50s and 60s. [...] With the clearance forms signed, items dekitted, stores returned, certificates collected, well-wishes accepted and handshakes shaken, I am now officially an NSman of the RSAF. However, its a half-happy and half-sad event for me, I guess. Knowing that you have been through tough and good times with other guys of your own age, and disbanding [...] Just got your driving licence? Wanna rent a car? No problem!…as long as you are above 23 years old, that is. |
