Just watched the news on Channel 8. There was a report about two schools, one primary and one secondary, doing some panoramic images for their school. Take photos and have a company stitch up the photos into a panoramic image and. Bah. Big deal, I’ve done that 3 years ago, with free software downloaded off the Internet with no camera tripod.

Today’s lunch – Strawberry McColossal. The McColossal’s fine, but the strawberry sauce they use tastes like sugary cough syrup. Bleh. *Note to self: Only eat chocolate McColossal.* Anyway, I went back to my secondary school today to gather more info and requirements from teachers there. Hopefully can finish the whole thing by Thursday, work on the PocketPC application on Friday and beautify the thing by Saturday morning.

Just read the New Paper today, and was scanning the headlines when I saw this article on a virus attacking SP’s fileserver…LOL! Students from some courses had all their files deleted while some others from a specific course was half-deleted as the virus only deleted the files in the user directory ending with even numbers. Hmm…remember to backup!

Anyways, besides that ever-pressing deadline, today was another frustrating Linux configuration practical – frustrating as in it takes so much time just to get IP-based virtual hosts working on Apache. Sheesh. Sure, its cool and all that, but configuring it is a pain in the ass. Oh yeah, a friend of mine got a new power adapter for his laptop since his original one was dying, due to a suspected capacitor charge holding problem….
