Internet Computing - A Cakewalk Or A Woe?

Spent the entire weekend studying IC. Yeah. Getting stuff into my head. Utterly boring and useless information. Funny thing is, I’ve learnt XML DTD, DOM and Namespace before IC…I say about a year before this semester? And that got me thinking, what had led me to learn all this stuff before IC? Then I recall…I was trying to code a blogging system using XML but then I had no time to finish it and had not much experience in programming in PHP…then I was thinking wnat got me into doing this? Then I recalled a conversation I had with Mr Lau…he was asking me if I knew about XHTML, and I said that it was XML compliant HTML (that was an educated guess, ok?), but he said no, its not, but I didn’t ask (And woe and behold, I know what it is on one fine sunny day…but that’s another long story). He also said that XML is now the buzzword in internet programming, and so I decided to study XML as studiously as possible…and here I am, revising for the second time, what is XML DTD, DOM and Namespace. LOL. I can’t help but wonder, do I actually have a natural affinity with computers? Most of the stuff in IC I’ve learnt/seen/heard before also. My goodness. Problem is that will all this information stuck in my head flow onto paper during the exam? I hope so…

Haha, I tried to reprogram myself also during the weekends…relearning Mind Maps, and seeing that it was a partially defective software for the brain (its like Microsoft - you hate it, but you have to use it, because everyone’s using it), I decided to bend the rules to suit my own style of mind mapping. LOL.

Sigh, I really hope that She’s doing fine these few days…I hate to see Her being stressed out.
